Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Conduct basic risk assessments on production equipment before starting work.
- Strictly adhere to all workplace health and safety regulations.
- Wear personal protective equipment provided by the company at all times.
- Maintain 3S standards, including sorting, systematic arrangement, and cleanliness.
- Inspect machine controls to ensure they are in safe and working condition.
- Remove empty spools, trolleys, and rolls from production machines.
- Return empty materials to the designated component sections.
- Move inspected raw covers into allocated storage bays.
- Ensure production machines are supplied with required solutions and materials.
- Collaboratively Work with team members to meet daily production targets.
- Follow instructions from the Production Foreman and senior operators.
- Support continuous improvement by reporting faults or safety concerns.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum education level of Grade 12 (Matric) or an N3 Certificate.
- Mathematics (Pure Maths) and/or Physical Science as completed subjects.
- South African citizenship or valid legal permission to work in South Africa.
- Ability to work full-time on-site in Brits.
- Physically fit to perform production-related tasks.
